Remote Position

Position Overview:
We're seeking adept communication specialists who are passionate about effectively conveying messages related to climate issues to join us and make meaningful contributions to our outreach efforts. We have openings at various experience levels and are excited about assembling a diverse and vibrant communications team.
Requirements:
● Develop and execute effective communication strategies to convey climate information through various channels.
● Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create engaging written and visual content for diverse audiences.
● Ensure the accessibility and inclusivity of communication materials by adhering to government standards, including 508 compliance.
● Utilize creativity to develop and edit multimedia content, including video, to enhance communication effectiveness.
● Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance communication approaches.
Required Skills:
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and impact.
● Ability to craft and edit engaging content for different communication channels.
● Familiarity with government accessibility standards, ensuring 508 compliance for all communication materials.
● Experience in multimedia content creation, including video production and editing.
● Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with graphic design principles for visual communication enhancement.
● Passion for environmental and climate science, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Education Requirements:
● Relevant experience emphasizing communications, journalism, or related disciplines.
